Our approach
We are a small consultancy specialising in creating and consulting on participant-centred evaluations and programmes for organisations and individuals working with children and young people, particularly those experiencing social injustice.
We are deeply rooted in values of integrity, empathy, kindness and flexibility and align ourselves with like-minded individuals and organisations.
Depending on the needs of each project, I work with a small network of trusted collaborators with specialist expertise across evaluation, facilitation and creative practice. This allows me to bring together the right skills and perspectives for each piece of work, while maintaining a consistent, high-quality and relational approach.
What we offer
Strategic clarity / evaluation sprint
A short, structured strategic intervention for organisations who have done a lot, but don’t know what it’s adding up to, or what to do next. Our approach is collaborative, not extractive and is focussed on helping people to think clearly, learn effectively and make better decisions. This is for organisations or individuals who:
Deliver a lot of activity but lack clarity on impact
Feel stuck or unable to make clear decisions
Aren’t getting useful insight from their current evaluation processes
Want to use evaluation to support learning, not just reporting
By the end of the sprint you will have:
A clear and confident articulation of your impact
A focussed direction and priorities
Clarity on what data is useful and what to stop collecting
Align your team around clear priorities and next steps
Be better equipped to use evaluation as a learning tool

“I can’t recommend Abi D’Amore enough if impact and evidence is not your forte and you’re not lucky enough to have said person in your core team. Abi’s support has helped us develop our very own evaluation ‘toolbox’ which we now confidently use across all our programmes.”
Hannah Brooman, Founder and CEO at InUnity
Collective Learning and Programme Development Workshop
A facilitated workshop designed to help groups of organisations work through complex challenges, align their thinking and identify clear next steps. We help groups think deeply and move forward on complex challenges. This is for:
Groups of organisations (e.g. networks, partnerships, funded cohorts)
Consortia developing new programmes or approaches
This typically works well for organisations:
Starting a new programme or initiative
Exploring a shared research theme
Wanting to connect learning across organisations
Needing structured space to reflect and plan
By the end of the workshop you will have:
Greater clarity on shared priorities and direction
Stronger connections and more effective collaboration
Practical actions and next steps
A clearer sense of collective learning and purpose

“Abi worked hard to get to know our organisations and the nuances of our positions and the current landscape. Building on this preparatory work, Abi carefully tailored thoughtful group activities that skilfully led us to develop our own next steps, while ensuring our thinking was challenged. Working with Abi has really helped us to refine our thinking and identify the priorities for our work together. Ultimately Abi has enabled us to maximise the opportunity to benefit from the expertise in both organisations. We now have a clearer case that will help us to apply for funding and formulate a strategic plan for our work together over the next few years.”
Nicole O’Donnell, CEO of The National Children’s Choir of GB and Holly Radford-James, CEO of Soundabout
Evaluation and learning partnership
A medium to long term evaluation and learning delivery partnership for organisations who want to move beyond reporting, and instead understand, strengthen and evolve their work for greater impact. I would work with you as a learning partner embedded alongside your organisation. This is particularly for organisations who:
Have clarity on direction
Are delivering programes with children and young people
Want to understand and improve their impact over time.
A key part of this work is creating meaningful cycles of reflection so insight is used to shape and improve your work as it develops, not just reported at the end.
Groups of organisations (e.g. networks, partnerships, funded cohorts)
Consortia developing new programmes or approaches
Over time, organisations will:
Develop a clear, evidence-based understanding of their impact
Improve the quality and effectiveness of their programmes
Build internal confidence and capability around evaluation
Make better strategic decisions grounded in insight
Understand the conditions needed for sustainable impact
